Quick Start

Get started with Tokligence Guard in 5 minutes.

Step 1: Install the Extension​

Follow the installation guide to install the browser extension.

Step 2: Open an AI Service​

Navigate to any supported AI service:

Step 3: Start Typing​

Tokligence Guard automatically activates when you're on a supported site. Try typing a message with sensitive information:

My email is john.doe@example.com and my phone is 555-123-4567.

Step 4: See the Magic​

Tokligence Guard will automatically detect and highlight the sensitive information:

  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Other PII

Before sending, the sensitive data is redacted:

My email is [EMAIL_REDACTED] and my phone is [PHONE_REDACTED].

Understanding the Interface​

Extension Popup​

Click the Tokligence Guard icon in your toolbar to see:

  • Status: Whether protection is active
  • Statistics: How many items have been redacted
  • Settings: Quick access to configuration

In-Page Indicators​

When Tokligence Guard detects sensitive data:

  1. The text is highlighted
  2. A notification appears
  3. You can choose to redact or allow
